School District Trustees Receive Long Service Certificates
On behalf of the BC School Trustees’ Association, Chair Anderson presented Long Service Certificates to honour Lynda Peterson for 9 years’ service as a School Trustee and to Linda Sewell for 6 years’ service.
Strong Start Program Update
The district reports that there are 252 regular attendees at the Duncan Cran Strong Start Program. An application of Interest has been filed with the Ministry for 2 more programs to commence in September;
Prespatou School Opens New Addition
On Thursday, April 24 the district celebrated the official opening of a wonderful new addition to the Prespatou School. Principal Dave Ritche, the staff and students hosted the community and guests including our MLA Mr.
1st Annual Parent Conference A Success
The Superintendent reported that over 100 parents attended the 1st Annual Parent Conference. Parents were amazed with the quality of local speakers and asked that this conference continue in the future.
