Duncan Cran Elementary School is the winner of the SEEDS 2011 It’s Write for Communities Environmental Writing Challenge. At a school assembly on June 23, 2011, Ms. Christine Todd, Vice Principal, students, and staff at Duncan Cran were presented with a $2,011.00 cheque in support of environmental literacy projects in their school. Duncan Cran students not only wrote about the environment as part of the Writing Challenge, but also recently completed 100 environmental activities to become a SEEDS Green School.
