The cheque was presented on Friday, April 29th to support the purchase of musical instruments for a music program that we are implementing at Upper Halfway Elementary School for grades K-7. The funds will also be used for sports equipment to support various outdoor sports. Upper Halfway school does not have a gymnasium; therefore a lot of their sports are outside on the outdoor rink and there is the need for more protective equipment. We cannot thank Talisman enough for their generous donation in support of Upper Halfway School.
