    June 12, 2018 – Prespatou School Closed Today – Power Outage

    Due to a power outage at Prespatou the school will be closed and buses to Prespatou will not be running. All other schools are open and buses running.

    Prespatou School Closed Today

    Prespatou school has been closed for today January 30th as maintenance staff seek to remedy an issue with the electrical system. Further updates will be provided as they come available as to when the school will reopen.

    NPSS to remain closed Monday, June 5, 2017 – Classes Cancelled

    Due to ongoing repairs associated with a break in the school’s water main, NPSS main campus will remain closed to students on Monday, June 5, 2017.

    Prespatou School Remains Closed

    SD 60 regrets that ongoing late spring snow melt and heavy runoff conditions have caused the sanitation lagoons at Prespatou Elementary Secondary School to overfill. Until a working septic system can be re-established,

    Prespatou School Closed Monday, May 1, 2017

    Due to unseasonal weather conditions and high water levels caused by rapid spring runoff  Prespatou School will need to remain closed on Monday, May 1, 2017 as the district works to establish effective clearance within the school’s lagoon system.

    Due to a mechanical issue, Prespatou School will be closed on Friday, April 28, 2017. School buses will not be running to Prespatou the school.

    Wonowon School will be closed today, Friday, May 6th due to a wildfire caused power outage.

    Power Restored to Wonowon – School to Reopen Thursday

    Power has been restored to Wonowon School.
    Wonowon School will reopen on Thursday, April 21, 2016 provided power continues to be available.

    Wonowon school does not have power as of 8:40am and will remain closed Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

    School Status for Wednesday

    8:30pm Tuesday, April 19, 2016 – School District network tools show that power has been restored to Prespatou, Buick Creek, and Upper Pine Schools.  Power has not been restored at this point to Upper Halfway or Wonowon Schools.
