New itouches were used with examples of apps on the ipod for education. Who will have time to figure out what we put on there? What is the process to deploy the ipods? How do we image the ipods? File distribution to the ipods… some programs we looked at were Stanza (books), Files lite (file server), subway lite (puzzle game), basicMaths (math practice),
PCP remote for recording and sending to spectrum podcast server with iphone… need to check if it works for generation two of the touch.
Noteshare and noteshare server… electronic notebook… saves to web, has RSS feed. Using it in Cold Lake Alberta in a 1:1 high school, used to create their own textbooks.
