• NBCDES Internet Upgrade

    I’m happy to announce that we will be upgrading the NBCDES internet connection from a 10Mbps connection to 100Mbps. The order has gone into the Provincial Learning Network. No time of completion as of yet but it is in the works!

  • Wonowon Internet Upgrade

    I’m happy to say that the Wonowon Elementary School’s internet has been upgraded to a 4Mbps ADSL line via Northwestel! We expect this to provide much better reliability, download and upload speeds than the previous satellite connections.

    The District Moodle upgrade to 2.1 has gone quite well. Roles, users, calendars, assignments and resources moved perfectly.   • District Moodle upgrade

    Our venerable http://www.district.prn.bc.ca moodle site will be moving to a new virtualized server along with a moodle version upgrade to 2.1 starting 8am Monday, July 11. Services at http://www.district.prn.bc.ca will no longer be available. The new server will be located at http://district.prn.bc.ca (dropped the www) hopefully not too many hours afterwards.

  • SPANBC/PLNet Upgrade for Fort St John RNC

    Our regional service will be upgraded from a 100Mb connection to a 1Gb connection by March 13th. Great news for the communities serviced by our RNC in the North!

  • Fibre Upgrade @ Ecole Central

    Happy to inform that Ecole Central will be getting a 10Mpbs fibre optic upgrade from their current 1.5Mbps EB1 copper line in February 2011! Thanks to the folks at PLNet for their work on our behalf with upgrades!
