Halfway River CDN Controls Ltd. invited members of the community to their offices today to open kids up to the possibility of working in the instrumentation and electrical fields. Students were treated to lunch, and then toured the facilities. They visited various stations, learning from industry employees about pre-requisites to study in secondary school, technical training, apprenticeships, salary potential, and much, much more. The inter-related disciplines of instrumentation, electrical and programming were also discussed. The teens were curious, highly engaged, and good questions were asked.
Thanks go out to everyone involved in organizing this event. Our community continues to be wonderfully supportive of our youngsters. Thank you!
