The Curtis Hadland Wheelchair Accessible Playground (Baldonnel Elementary) Baldonnel PAC and school community is proud to announce that the installation of their new playground has begun and should be completed in the coming days. This is only the second wheelchair accessible playground in the whole Peace region. After almost 3 years of fundraising and planning; [...] From the Baldonnel School website - On May long weekend, Derek Hadland, travelled to Quesnel for the BC Jr. High School Rodeo finals where he competed in Goat Tying and Ribbon Roping. Derek did really well in the Goat tying placing in all three performances. The calves were fast and furious in the Ribbon Roping. [...] Students and Staff at Baldonnel Elementary have put together 150 shoeboxes full of supplies and gifts for Operation Christmas Child. A very impressive contribution considering there are only 124 students at Baldonnel! The shoeboxes will be sent to less fortunate children overseas. Students studied citizenship and other countries and their economies this year as part [...] Baldonnel students are getting ready for their Art Show and Gala tonight at Baldonnel School. Students were organized in to multi-age house team groups and rotated through 8 centers. They spent the day making Christmas pictures/decorations and items for our school art show.
